The gravity wave sensor is a high-precision sensor independently developed by Guangzhou Ruihai Ocean Technology Co., Ltd., which calculates wave height, direction, period and other data through inertial navigation components. This device uses the periodogram method to calculate wave power spectrum, and is a wave sensor that completes online calculation of wave power spectrum. It also calculates wave characteristic parameters based on wave spectrum theory. Not only that, it also achieves high-precision and high-frequency mathematical attitude compensation for the first time internationally, replacing traditional mechanical/electrical horizontal holding structures, making the sensor smaller in size and lower in power consumption.
Gravity wave sensors are suitable for wave buoys, unmanned boats, underwater gliders, etc.
