Working principle:
The three-dimensional laser wind radar adopts the principle of coherent detection, using a stable frequency pulse laser as the illumination light source. It receives scattered echo signals of aerosols drifting in the atmosphere and mixes them coherently with lightning and local oscillator light. By using digital frequency discrimination technology on the intermediate frequency signal, the radial wind vector in the direction of the laser beam's line of sight is obtained.
Through the two axis optical scanning of the radar system, the beam of light forms a scanning field in the air. The system measures the atmospheric wind field through multi beam wind field inversion.
